Ways to Help

Volunteer

Our effectiveness in reaching and changing the lives of men and women struggling with an unplanned pregnancy is largely due to the great work our volunteers do. FCPS works well because our volunteers approach their service with the same due diligence and firm commitment that our staff requires of themselves. We expect our volunteers to uphold high standards of professionalism, personal responsibility and Christian character in all we say and do. To this end we expect each volunteer to do the following: Please call 702-294-CARE (2273) or email help@firstchoicelv.org if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.

We need volunteers in the following areas:

Administration

Fundraising and Event Planning

Client Advocates - people who answer phones and/or meet with clients

Sonographers

Graphic Design

Book keeping

Data Entry

Cleaning Services/Housekeeping

Grounds up keep & Palm tree trimming

Liaison between your church and FCPS

Bilingual English/Spanish document translator

Videographer

If you have any gift that may be of assistance to our mission, we would like to hear from you.

Pray

I desire for you all to know what your prayers mean to First Choice and to all of us involved. As you know, we have an enemy that comes directly against us because not only babies are being saved, but souls are coming to The Cross and the destruction of the lives of men and women are being spared from abortion.

We have so many amazing testimonies of God's goodness, babies being saved and of His provision. We had a woman who came in recently who thought she was in the abortion clinic and had walked out of her consultation before her ultrasound. She later came back for the ultrasound and chose life for her preborn child. This is one of so many that we could share with you. Please know you are important to us and the Kingdom Work that we are blessed to be a part of.

Please pray:

  • That we stand strong against the wiles of the enemy.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

  • That we daily keep our hearts and minds pure.

1 Timothy 4
12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit in faith, in purity. 13 Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. 15 Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. 16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

  • That we seek God's perfect will and trust in Him.

Psalm 9:10
And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.

  • That the workers, donors and banquet team who are called by the Lord respond to Him in obedience and that He is glorified in all we do.

Hebrews 13
20 Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
